Cosmetic & Consumer Compliance

Safety and regulatory documentation support

Customers, distributors and authorities often need documentation beyond the main safety assessment: safety data sheets, ingredient toxicological profiles, hazard classifications and safety statements. We prepare these documents with the same scientific care, so that what you share is accurate and consistent.

  • Documents SDS/MSDS, toxicological profiles, GHS classification, safety statements
  • Typical inputs Composition, physical-chemical data, intended use
  • You receive Documents in the required format and language

Overview

About Safety & Regulatory Documentation

Safety data sheets (SDS, sometimes called MSDS) communicate hazards and safe-handling information for chemical products and raw materials. Their format and classification follow the Globally Harmonized System (GHS) as implemented in each region. Ingredient toxicological profiles summarise the hazards of individual ingredients and are used in cosmetic safety assessments and customer documentation.

We prepare and review these documents, keep them consistent with your safety assessments and update them when compositions or regulations change.

Use cases

When this service helps

Raw material suppliers

SDS and toxicological profiles for customers.

Exporters

SDS in the format and language required by importing countries.

Customer questionnaires

Accurate safety statements and technical information.

Household products

Classification and labelling for consumer chemical products.

Scope

What the service covers

  • Safety data sheet preparation and review
  • GHS hazard classification and label elements
  • Ingredient toxicological profiles for cosmetic safety assessment
  • Safety statements and technical letters for customers
  • Margin-of-safety support for ingredient suppliers
  • Update reviews when compositions or regulations change

Who does what

Physical-chemical and toxicological testing, if required, is performed by laboratories. Globaxa uses available data and specifies any testing needed.

Is an SDS required for finished cosmetics?

In many jurisdictions finished cosmetics for consumers are exempt from SDS requirements, but raw materials and products for professional or industrial use usually need them. Customers may also request them for transport or storage.

Methodology

How we work

A defined sequence, agreed with you at the start, so you always know what happens next and what we need from you.

  1. Collect dataComposition, test data and supplier information.
  2. ClassifyHazards are classified under the relevant GHS implementation.
  3. Prepare documentsSDS, profiles or statements are drafted.
  4. Review and updateDocuments are checked and kept current.

Deliverables

What you receive

Safety data sheets

Complete SDS in the required regional format.

Toxicological profiles

Ingredient hazard summaries with references.

Safety statements

Clear, accurate statements for customers and partners.

Technical basis

Guidelines we work to

  • UN GHSGlobally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals, implemented differently in each region.
  • EU REACH Annex II and CLP RegulationSDS format and classification rules in the EU.
  • SCCS Notes of GuidanceIngredient safety evaluation for cosmetic use.

What we need from you

  • Full composition and CAS numbers
  • Physical-chemical properties and any test data
  • Intended use and target markets
  • Existing SDS or supplier documents

Please share confidential information only after an NDA is in place — we are happy to sign one first.

Market and jurisdiction considerations

SDS requirements follow GHS but differ in detail between regions (for example EU CLP, the US OSHA Hazard Communication Standard and national implementations in Asia). We prepare documents for the regions you specify.
